I saw an advert for a knitting magazine on TV last night and started laughing - but the joke’s on me; then again Andrew was joking about using math theory to sort out the Xmas lights, and when I checked the problem relates (er, kinda) to super-string theory!

Funny how out of nowhere you can suddenly click on the origin of very commonplace words. Like ‘process’ being part of the word ‘procession’. Or ‘emergence’ part of the word ‘emergency’. Or ‘par for the course’ deriving from the world of golf. Not to be under-estimated, the power of words.

So first Beyonce’s album ‘b’day’ launches the same day I start my new job, 4 September. Then she bumps into my boss Adam in our new offices just off Times Square NY on her way to the MTV photo shoot. Is she psychically communicating with me (or am I just plain imaging this all)?!
